Iowa Unemployment Rate Down To 3.7% In January

(Undated) -- Iowa's unemployment rate continues to fall. Iowa Workforce Development says the unemployment rate in January was 3.7%, down from the revised 3.9% mark in December. Iowa also added 3,000 jobs in January. Iowa's unemployment rate has either stayed the same or dropped each month since July 2021. Last January Iowa's unemployment rate was 4.4%.
