(Omaha, NE) -- The business economy is booming in the Omaha area. More than $1.5 Billion dollars in capital investments gets the headline in the Greater Omaha Chamber annual report for 2021. That's triple the capital investments in 2020, when the pandemic shutdowns and slow downs depressed growth.

Amazon, and Facebook are two of the biggest projects, but other leading capital investments come in a broad range of sectors including finance and insurance, logistics, manufacturing, agribusiness, medical technology, and biosciences.

The new report shows shows those capital projects are linked to more than four-thousand-500 jobs in the Greater Omaha area.
