New Information On Omaha Stabbing And Robbery Case

Omaha Police are investigating an early Wednesday morning assault and robbery in south central Omaha.

Officers on patrol in the area of 42nd and Grover were flagged down by a citizen around one a.m. and told that an armed robbery and cutting had just occurred.

Investigators say police then located 52-year old Anthony Palazzola, who told them he had been robbed and assaulted by two men at 42nd and F Streets.

Omaha Fire paramedics took Palazzola to the hospital, and police say his injuries did not appear to be life threatening.

The investigation is ongoing.
