The Sarpy County Board of Commissioners approves the selection of Jesse Eret as the new Director of the Sarpy County Emergency Management Agency.
Eret has been with the agency since 2016.
He has served as the Acting Director of the agency since late September after the previous director, Lynn Marshall, passed away last year.
Before joining Sarpy County government, Eret served as the State Continuity of Operations Program Manager for the New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
In that position, he assisted in the development and revision of several emergency operations and continuity of operations plans and served as a director of the State Emergency Operations Center during numerous disasters.
