New Husker Off. Coordinator To Be Highest Paid Assistant In School History

(Lincoln, NE) -- New Nebraska offensive coordinator Mark Whipple will be the highest paid assistant football coach in the school’s history. University of Nebraska released Whipple’s contract details today, showing he’ll make $875-thousand in his first year and $900-thousand his second year. His contract runs through the 2023 season. Former defensive coordinator Bob Diaco was previously the highest paid assistant, making $825-thousand in 2017.
