(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police are identifying a man, found shot to death on the city's east side as 40-year-old Frederick M. McCuller II of Des Moines. Officers were called to the 1400 block of East 17th Street around 8:16 last (Monday) night to investigate a shooting. McCuller was pronounced dead at the scene. A 32-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, both Des Moines residents were treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
This is the 6th homicide in the city of Des Moines this year.
