DES MOINES, Iowa -- Travel isn't advised on the interstates and highways around Des Moines this morning.
The Iowa Department of Transportation winter driving maps show completely snow covered roads in areas south and east of Des Moines.
Roads north of Fort Dodge across the top one-third of the state are partially covered.
Travel is also not advised on the interstates and highways near Omaha.
Hundreds of Iowa Department of Transportation plow trucks are still out clearing the roads this morning.
Test Iowa Sites are also opening two-hours later today, according to a release from Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds' Office.
