Iowa Football pauses team activities due to increased COVID-19 spread

The Iowa Hawkeyes football team has paused team workouts and activities through Friday due to a COVID-19 outbreak.

As of now, Iowa's game next week against Missouri in the Music City Bowl is still on.

Head Coach Kirk Ferentz tested positive for the virus last week, and is still away from the team.

The Hawkeyes finished the year ranked 15th in the College Football Playoff rankings with a record of 6-2.
