Metro Cities Plan for Beggar's Night Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

CLIVE, Iowa - Most of the cities in the Des Moines Metro Area are planning to proceed with Beggar's night this year, but they're urging the public to take COVID-19 precautions.

The Iowa Department of Public Health has released a list of guidelines for parents planning to take their children trick-or-treating.

The metro cities that have confirmed they will have Beggar's Night on October 30th include:

  • Altoona
  • Ankeny
  • Bondurant
  • Indianola
  • Johnston
  • Waukee
  • West Des Moines

The city of Des Moines will decide later in the month.
