Gov. Reynolds extends disaster proclamation for Derecho-impacted counties

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has extended a disaster proclamation for counties impacted by the August 10 derecho.

The proclamation is extended until November 8 for 27 counties, allowing state resources to be used to help residents in those counties recover from the effects of the derecho.

The disaster proclamation has been extended for Audubon, Benton, Boone, Cass, Cedar, Clarke, Clinton, Dallas, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hardin, Iowa, Jackson, Jasper, Johnson, Jones, Linn, Madison, Marshall, Muscatine, Polk, Poweshiek, Scott, Story, Tama, and Washington counties.
