Perry Man Arrested After Threatening Police Station With Bomb

PERRY, Iowa -- A Perry man is in police custody today after threatening the police station with a bomb.

Police say 46-year-old Justin Pierschbacher walked into the Perry Police Department lobby early Saturday morning, teasing he had some kind of detonator for an explosive.

Police negotiated with Pierschbacher for about two hours before he gave in. Police did not find a detonator or bomb on his person.

No one was injured during the interaction.
