JOHNSTON, Iowa -- Send-off ceremonies were held Sunday in three Iowa cities for nearly 300 Iowa National Guard soldiers.
About 130 soldiers gathered for the ceremony Johnston, 95 soldiers in Sioux City and 75 soldiers in Boone.
The Iowa National Guard soldiers are deploying to Kosovo on a year-long peace keeping mission.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, family watched the send-off ceremonies on Facebook Live.
