Des Moines Police Looking for Man, Woman in Supermarket Altercation

DES MOINES, Iowa - Des Moines Police are asking for public help to identify and locate two people suspected of criminal mischief and assault.

Investigators are trying to locate a man and woman they say were involved in a dispute with store owners at a supermarket in the 600 block of Douglas Avenue on August 15th.

Police says displays were tipped over and items were damaged and thrown around the store during the dispute.

While leaving the store, the man is accused of assaulting an employee, causing several minor injuries.

Police say they have identified and charged the woman for the altercation, but have not identified the man.
