The Countries Where Men & Women Live Longest (They Are Different!)

I always love when the media interviews a person who has been alive A LONG time and their answer to the secret of longevity involves ice cream...or french fries...or alcohol. It turns out the COUNTRY in which you live can make a difference...but it is a DIFFERENT country for women & men.

A new study out of the University of Pennsylvania looked at life expectancies from 15 major countries and discovered that women in Switzerland live the longest, 79.3 years, while men in Australia have the longest life expectancy, 74.1 years.

As for the U.S., both women and men have the eighth-longest life expectancy, with women at 76.43 years, and men at 71.57 years.
