Jeff Is Disappointed That HE Is Not The New Batman #NeedtoKnow #JeffAngelo

Who is the new Batman?

I am disappointed that I have not been asked to be the new Batman. In all honesty, I didn't KNOW there's going to be a new Batman. But how hard can it be? When you're Bruce Wayne, speak normally. When you're Batman, use a gruff voice. NOBODY EVER knows it's Bruce Wayne. And all those toys....

How cool is it to be Batman? Ask Michael Keaton. I recently watched a commencement speech by Keaton. He ended the speech by dropping his voice and whispering, "I'm Batman." Because he KNEW that's what the graduates wanted to hear. They won't remember anything ELSE about his speech...but they'll remember THAT.

Remember the controversy when Keaton was announced as Batman? AND NOW...there are movie fans who say he is their favorite Batman.

So...don't be surprised if there's controversy over the new choice. There is ALWAYS controversy. But because of the Keaton controversy, most fans now reserve judgment until seeing the movie.

The search for a new and improved Batman for the DC Universe may have ended.

So move over Ben Affleck…."Twilight" star Robert Pattinson is in line to play the next "Batman." Sources tell Variety it's not set in stone, but Pattinson is the top choice and they're closing in on a deal. Warner Brothers has not commented on the report. The new Batman movie is being directed by Matt Reeves, who made the last two “Planet of the Apes” movies.

If he inks the deal, the 32-year-old Pattinson will become the youngest actor to ever play the superhero on the big screen. The new Batman movie will hit theaters in June of 2021.

You'll recall that the previous actors to take on the role beside Keaton include George Clooney, Christian Bale, Val Kilmer, and just because he’s got the coolest voice for it…Will Arnett in the Lego movies.

My favorite Batman is Bale; least favorite is Clooney.
