WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - A house fire in West Des Moines injures a firefighter this morning.
Crews were called to 408 11th Street around 5:30 a.m. when a neighbor saw smoke coming from a house.
The fire is out, one firefighter is at the hospital, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
According to WHO Channel 13, the residents were not home when the fire started near the Valley Junction area.
