Have You Seen This? Bats Taking Over the NBA

You are used to seeing high-flying moves at an NBA game. But it's a different type of flying that has apparently taken over the league's arenas.

Last week, in one of the more hilarious moments of the NBA season so far, the San Antonio Spurs were dealing with a group of bats at the AT&T Center prior to a game against the New Orleans Pelicans. One of those bats decided to make an appearance during the action.

Enter The Coyote, mascot of the Spurs:

This isn't the first time a bat has been caught on the floor at the AT&T Center.

On Halloween Night in 2009, Spurs star Manu Ginobili swiped one down out of the air during a game:

Later last week, the Indiana Pacers hosted the Los Angeles Clippers and had a similar issue:

Now there's word that the people in the arena at Bankers Life Fieldhouse were exposed to rabies if they made physical contact with the bat.

There's no one that has come forward to this point, but it's safe to say you have to take into account the possibility that a bat may be crashing your local NBA game. Keep your head on a swivel!
