LOOK: News and views from the 75th NAFB convention

It's the 75th convention of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting so some celebrating to be sure:

All of the stars were shining bright, including our own Bill Northey from USDA:

Of course, there is business to be done as the Association seeks to develop talent for the future of farm broadcasting and opportunities for that talent to be utilized:

There is also a lot of news made.  Of course that makes sense when the media is gathered in one place.  Among the stories - the US Farmers and Ranchers Alliance announcing their 2.0 campaign to better inform the population accurately about where their food comes from:

Twas a bit chilly, and the white stuff even made an appearance on Friday:

What was that about the stars being out?  Iowa farmer and NCGA 1st Vice President Kevin Ross stopped by the chat:

All in all, it was a very informative and productive three days as the events draw to a close today with a luncheon and the President's Ball a little later.  It's always a little sad to say goodbye to our counterparts from across the country for another year, but we can rest easily knowing the future of our industry is in good hands.
