GREENE COUNTY, Iowa- A man was killed in a Greene County crash today (Wednesday). The Iowa State Patrol says 71-year-old Wesley Bunnell of Glidden was traveling north on Highway 4 near Jefferson, just after Noon, when for an unknown reason his van drifted into the southbound lanes, and collided with a semi, driven by 21-year-old Arthur Vanderwall.
The State Patrol says the truck driver attempted to drive onto the shoulder to avoid a crash, but the van still hit the truck.
Bunnell was pronounced dead at the scene.
