Tornadoes ravaged eastern Iowa Thursday afternoon, hitting hardest in Marshalltown, Pella, and Bondurant.
One of the more shocking videos came from Marshalltown, where the courthouse took the brunt of a powerful twister.
Iowa has been known to get tornadoes and every year it seems at least one town gets hit hard. But three cities in different counties to get blasted by these twisters on the same afternoon is unreal.
We are thankful that there were no storm related deaths in these tornadoes, but the videos and photos of the damage will remind us what these disasters can do.
