WHO listener flies hot air balloon at 17,000 feet! Party at Cowles Commons!

Tim Cloyd owns Glorious Drifter, a hot air balloon, and each year he does the "Extreme Flight to Find a Cure".  It's a flight to raise money for Cancer Research.  He flies between 200 and 500 miles at speeds up to 100 mph and altitude as great as 17,000 feet!  He will even require oxygen to survive!  He will fly for your loved one who has cancer, died from cancer or is a cancer survivor.  You can get all the information at www.Tecvisions.org.  Hear his entire interview here...

There's a big party happening this weekend at Cowles Commons and it's called Christkindlmarket and it's put on by the Des Moines European Heritage Association.  There will be kids activities, a heated entertainment tent, decorated Christmas trees and lots more.  The event begins tomorrow, December 1st from 11AM-9PM, Saturday from 11AM-9PM and Sunday from 11AM-5PM.  Hear the entire interview with Suzanne Hull here...
