The Story County Sheriff's office posted a video of an early morning high speed chase on their Facebook page where an SUV was doing 111 miles an hour in a 25 miles per hour zone.
A deputy was on a side street in Slater when the SUV zoomed past on Highway 210. The deputy chased him for about four minutes and the driver finally pulled over in Boone County. The driver was charged with eluding, reckless driving, speeding and other charges. His name wasn't revealed.
The sheriff's office says central Iowans need to watch their speed at all hours...and look out for those who don't.
