Our special guest this morning was David Williamson with Project Aware.  Project Aware is the organization that cleans up the waterways each summer in Iowa.  David takes the metal trash and makes sculptures out of it.  He is currently working on replacing the huge metal gates at the DNR Building at the Iowa State Fair with new gates sculpted from the trash collected over the years.  Tomorrow (Earth Day) there will be a presentation with a 60% scale model of one of the gate panels at the Wallace Building...lots of other stuff going on as well...11AM-2PM.  You can find out more information at www.iowaprojectaware.com.
