Cenjiz Osturk, the manager of the PX at Camp Dodge, joined us in the WHO studios this morning just after the 7:30 news. The Camp Dodge PX will be open to the public from 6-9AM on Monday, Memorial Day. The public will be able to purchase items at the same prices as the military. When you come out for all the other great things happening that morning at Camp Dodge, make a stop at the PX and do a little shopping!
Just after the 6:30 news this morning, Kara Kelly of the Red Cross, joined us in the studio. They are keeping in touch with the National Red Cross and are awaiting the phone call for Iowa volunteers to go to Oklahoma to help with the tornado victims. Just after the 8:30 news, we spoke on the phone with Mike who is picketing gas stations, protesting thee large increase in gas prices. Mike will be at a gas station by the west mixmaster this weekend. He is looking for people to join him.
