Ryan Bickle of the Blank Park Zoo joined us in the studio this morning just after the 8:30 news. He brought with him...Lucy the rat! Lucy is part of the Zoo's education outreach program and visits schools all year round. Ryan said a black rhino arrived at the zoo this morning and another will be arriving today! Eventually we're going to have baby rhinos at the Zoo! They will not be on display until the new Africa exihibit opens in May. Also new in the Africa display will be Kori Bustards...a huge bird. Santa will be at the Blank Park Zoo December 8th and 15th. Dancer an Cupid will join Santa on December 15th. Don't forget...zoo memberships maake an excellent Christmas gift!
