Greg Edwards of the Greater Des Moines Convention & Visitors Bureau joined us in the studio just after the 7:30AM news.  The new slogan is "Catch Des Moines"!  You should start to see the new verbage around town tomorrow.  According to research, this new phrase will make Des Moines sound hip, vibrant and fun.

Abbo Shontz and Angie Lookingbill joined us in the studio just after the 8:30AM news.  Abby and Angie are with the Junior League of Des Moines.  Their huge Gift Mart gets underway at the Veteran's Memorial Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center Thursday evening from 6-9PM.  It also runs Friday 9AM-9PM and Saturday 9AM-3PM.  Lots of shopping from over 70 unique retailers.

Congratulations to Christine Leatham on winning the Deck Your Home For The Holidays Contest!  Wee will be broadcasting live from her home Wednesday morning, November 21st, from 5-9AM, as Boesen The Florist and Wright Outdoor Solutions decorate her home.  Anderson Erickson will fix a wonderful eggnog breakfast for all!  Thank you to everyone who entered!
