Arvid Huisman of the Salvation Army was our special guest this morning just after the 6:30 news.  The Red Kettle Campaign kicks off tomorrow morning at 8AM.  Volunteers to ring bells are needed!  There are 60 kettles, 13,000 shifts of 2 hours each are needed to fill every slot at every kettle.  If you can help, please go to www.ringbells.org or call 515-243-7464.  You can give by using your smart phone to scan a QR code at each site, or you can text "givedm" to 80464.  Thank you!

Just after the 7:30 news this morning, John Bachman of TV-13 joined us to talk about his retirement as evening anchor at TV-13.  John still plans to be involved in the community with the Governor's Healthy Initiative Project, but is also planning to go south for the winters and visit his kids in Minnesota (in the summer) and Atlanta.  John's last broadcast will be the 10PM news tomorrow night.  Good luck John!

Bruce Lambert of Lambert & Ewers joined us just after the 8:30 news.  Bruce brought in some of his world famous spiral sliced, honey glazed ham, as well as some smoked turkey breast.  They were, of course, both awesome.  If you want a turkey or ham for Thanksgiving or Christmas, you need to pre-order too make sure you get one.  Their phone number is 1-800-446-6999 or online at www.4hams.com.  Their hams make a great Christmas gift!

If you're not able to join us tomorrow morning as a contestant in the All Iowa Trivia Bee, please join us online by typing "live video" in the keyword section at www.whoradio.com on the home page.

Also, be sure to join us at Directv Satellite Center at 100th & Hickman for their big Open House celebration tomorrow afternoon from 3-6PM

Have a great day...enjoy the weather while it lasts!
