We learned a new word today with Jeriann Ritter of TV-13...graupel. It's snow and ice crystals bound together to make what kind of looks like sleet but still has the shape of a snow flake. We had graupel in Ankeny this morning.
Our special guests this morning were Meredith Sillau, Terrace Hill Communications Coordinator and Lorenzo Sandoval, author of the production of A Christmas Carol that will be performed at Terrace Hill November 24th thru the 30th. Lorenzo also directs and acts in the production. It will be performed in the parlors, halls and bedchambers of Terrace Hill and the audience will move from room to room as the story unfolds.
