I am deeply saddened with the passing of my friend Mark Pearson....we have been friends and on-air partners a lot of years.  What a mind he had...and the ability to communicate....I received this note from Bill Northey this morning.."Mark was a very special person and I’m saddened by his loss.  I send my deepest condolences to his family.  He was a great advocate for Iowa agriculture and all its participants - especially our farmers. Mark was a tremendously bright person, wonderful entertainer, great businessman, loyal friend and he loved his family. I am stunned by the loss. Iowa is a better place because of all Mark's contributions and we are poorer due to his passing.”
