Very cool stuff: Lockheed is joining the race to build a better human exoskeleton. They're getting into the race because it's something the Defense Department wants...but it's also going to help regular people whose bodies aren't doing what they should (or used to). Imagine the difference a working exoskeleton could make for someone paralyzed by an accident or degenerative disease.
Also...I strongly recommend the David Brooks column on how some on the left in Washington want the government to become the true driver of the economy. Bad, bad, bad idea.
You can read up on some of the other notes I prepared (but didn't get to use, due to the shortened show) over on my personal site. I really wish we'd had time to dig deep into the story about the Arab Spring.
