Angela Van Ginkel of New Leaf Wellness was our special guest this morning just after the 8:30 news. Angela joined us to highlight the migraine pain relief therapy available at New Leaf. We have been getting so many phone calls and e-mails asking about it, we thought we'd have them explain the procedure right on the air. If you or someone you know is suffering from migraines, they don't need to anymore. Have them call New Leaf Wellness at 515-650-1115! It's covered by insurance.
Luke Snyder, bull rider with the Professional Bull Riders, was our special guest just after the 6:30 news. Luke will be competing in the PBR this weekend at Wells Fargo Arena. Luke has been riding bulls since he was 10 years old and is now one of the "old" guys at age 30! Luke says Des Moines has been very good to him in the past, so we hope he does well! He'll also be at G&L Clothing this afternoon from 5-7PM, 1801 Ingersoll. Weather permitting, they will have a mechanical bull in the parking lot, plus free pulled-pork sandwiches from Claxon's to the first 80 guests!
Please join Van and me this afternoon at Learning RX at 50th & Westown Parkway in West Des Moines from 3-6PM (right across from Lowes). Their cognitive skills test is 50% off. Your kids' future depends on how they learn....do what you can too give them the best preparation for life that you can! We'd love to see you there, but if you can't make it, please call 515-224-4819 and set up an appointment for the test so you can get the 50% off.
Tomorrow we'll be broadcasting our morning show live from Aviva's parking lot, just south of the intersection of Mills Civic Parkway and Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines. You can bring up to five boxes of paper to be shredded. We'll have tree seedlings for the first 400 cars who bring paper to be shredded.
Enjoy your day!
