Mark Lowe of the Iowa DOT was on the phone with us this morning to remind CDL License holders that regardless of their license renewal time...all must renew by end of the day today complete with your federal medical certificate. Failure to comply can result in the loss of your CDL privileges. If you do interstate driving, you will need to submit a copy of your Meical Examiner's Certificate to the Iowa DOT. If you only drive intrastate, a Medical Examiner's Certificate is not required.
