Gas Prices in Iowa Up to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Gas prices in Iowa are up to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $2.98 a gallon, up 5 cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:

  • Des Moines: $2.95
  • Ames: $3.12
  • Iowa City: $2.97
  • Cedar Rapids: $2.98
  • Dubuque: $3.17
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $2.95
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.27
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.02
  • Sioux City: $2.93
  • Council Bluffs: $2.95

The average price for regular unleaded nationally is $3.26 a gallon.
