Corrections Reports Missing Lincoln Inmate

Nebraska Corrections says they have been been notified about an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center - Lincoln.

Investigators say 47-year old Jonathan King left his job Friday morning, and his electronic monitor was found near 84th and O Streets in the Capital City.

Corrections say King started his sentence in 2009: 30 to 40 years for two counts of robbery out of Douglas County.

He has a parole hearing scheduled for this November and a tentative release date of September, 2028.

King is a black male, 6’ 3”, 300 lbs., with black hair, and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact local police or the Nebraska State Patrol.

Community Corrections Center-Lincoln is one of two community custody facilities operated by state corrections.

Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility.

Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school, and religious services, with prior approval, and without direct supervision.
