'Ol' Man Winter' To Return To Omaha/Council Bluffs Region

The Meteorologists at the Omaha National Weather Service Office in Valley say an upper-level disturbance will bring the chance for snow across portions of eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.

They say the highest accumulations are expected north of U.S. Highway 30, with snowfall totals across northeast Nebraska likely going above two inches.

The Omaha/Council Bluffs Metro is looking at lower amounts of snow.

There is still uncertainty with the amount of moisture in the storm and how efficiently snow will fall and accumulate on the ground.

At this point, minor travel impacts are expected due to slick roadways Thursday night and Friday.
