Iowa Gas Prices Up to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Gas prices in Iowa are up to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $2.91, an increase of 7 cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:

  • Des Moines: $2.64
  • Ames: $3.11
  • Cedar Rapids: $3.05
  • Iowa City: $3.00
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $3.03
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.24
  • Dubuque: $3.12
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.13
  • Sioux City: $2.88
  • Council Bluffs: $2.88

The national average price for regular unleaded is $3.19 a gallon.
