(Iowa City, IA) -- A former softball coach and teacher at Clear Creek-Amana, and Solon High Schools is pleading guilty to sexual abuse and enticing a minor.

59 year-old James White admitted in court he had sex twice with a player on the team he coached in 2007.

Iowa's News Now reports the victim was under the age of 16 at the time and could not give consent.

The Cedar Rapids Gazette reports that a judge gave White a suspended sentence, and probation. A sentencing judge will determine the length of White's probation on January 22nd.
