Omaha Teen on Life Support After Stabbing, Dies

UPDATE 5:26 p.m.-- The 16-year-old Omaha boy who was on life support after being stabbed has died. Omaha police confirm Clayton McCue died from his injuries. Fifteen-year-old Christopher DeLong Jr. is accused of stabbing him in the head. Officers found McCue November 8, near 180th and Q Streets in the parking lot of Living Faith United Methodist Church. Police say DeLong was identified by several witnesses at the scene. He was already on juvenile probation and had a more recent assault charge. DeLong is charged as an adult for second-degree murder and use of a deadly weapon. A GoFundMe has been posted for help with funeral and medical costs for the McCue family.

OMAHA, Nebraska -- The 16-year-old Omaha boy who was on life support after being stabbed has died.

A GoFundMe posted Thursday says Clayton McCue died from his injuries.

Fifteen-year-old Christopher DeLong Jr. is accused of stabbing him in the head.

Officers found McCue November 8, near 180th and Q Streets in the parking lot of Living Faith United Methodist Church.

Police say DeLong was identified by several witnesses at the scene. He was already on juvenile probation and had a more recent assault charge.

DeLong was initially charged as an adult for first-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

Prosecutors say more charges will be filed.
