Quad Cities Woman Who Hid Son's Death Fit For Trial

(Rock Island, IL) -- The Quad Cities woman accused of hiding the death of her son will go to trial. A Rock Island County judge is vacating an order for a mental fitness evaluation of Sushi Staples. The 38 year-old is charged with concealing a death, and lying to police after the body of ten-year-old Zion Staples was found hidden in the family's garage in July. She's scheduled to appear back in court on December 8th.
