(Waukee, IA) -- The Waukee Police Department is collecting monetary donations for families in need with its Thanksgiving Basket Drive as well as Operation Wishlist program.
They say they're hoping to provide food baskets to more than 20 families in the communtiy for Thanksgiving and will continue to take donations in December. Cash or checks can be delivered in person to the front office at the Waukee Public Safety Building Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm. That building is located at 1300 SE L.A. Grant Parkway in Waukee.
Cash or checks can also be mailed to the Waukee Police Department at the same address.
