(Warren County, IA) -- The Warren County Sheriff's Office had a very close call early this (Thursday) morning. First responders from Warren and Madison counties were responding to a crash on I-35 at the St. Charles exit when a semi slammed into two patrol cruisers at near regular speed. Sheriff's deputies saw the semi coming and got out of the way just in time, escaping injury.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office posted a note on social media explaining: Sgt. Wilbur and Deputy Good, thankfully, saw the semi coming and were able to flee to safety in time to avoid the unthinkable. We are beyond blessed neither Deputy, nor any other First Responder on scene was injured or worse.

Slow down, Move Over, Pay Attention... PLEASE! Our lives depend on it!
