Fire At Sivyer Steel Castings LLC Being Investigated

(Bettendorf, IA) -- The Bettendorf Fire Department is investigating a fire that broke out at Sivyer Steel Castings LLC.

Emergency crews responded to the fire Monday night at around 9:00 p.m. to see a column of smoke coming from the building.

Crews determined the fire started inside before spreading throughout the building.

There were employees in the building during the fire, but all managed to evacuate with no injuries reported.

Several agencies assisted with extinguishing the fire including Rock Island Arsenal Fire Department, Davenport Fire Department, LeClaire Fire Department, Riverdale Fire Department, Moline Fire Department, and Medic EMS.
