(Dubuque County, IA) -- The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office is reporting a phone scam in the area.
The Sheriff's Office says the scam involves a caller saying there's a legal matter that needs to be addressed with the Dubuque County Sheriff's Office and then provides a number to call. The number, (563)220-4351, is not affiliated with the Sheriff's Office. Investigators say no one should give personal information to the voicemail connected to that number.
