(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A ribbon cutting ceremony for new pickleball courts in Cedar Rapids is postponed due to high temperatures.
Jones Park on Fruitland Boulevard SW has added ten courts.
Five of the courts are located north and south of a central patio that include a shade structure, drinking fountains, and electrical outlets.
The other five courts are south of the patio and are lighted.
All ten courts are located east of the parking lot that was formerly used for a golf course.
They can be accessed through Fruitland Boulevard SW.
The ribbon cutting ceremony has been moved to September.
