Nebraska Ranks 37th For People Working From Home

(Undated) -- Nebraska has fewer people working from home than most states. Research from University of Nebraska-Omaha says 12.3% percent of Nebraskans worked from home in 2021, the 14th-lowest rate in the country. The report also says there are more people from other states commuting to work in Nebraska (about 43,347) than people from Nebraska working in other states (about 26,182). The UNO research is based on 2021 census data.
