Police Receive Nearly 200 Guns During Gun Amnesty Day

(Omaha, NE) -- Police are getting rid of nearly 200 guns after Omaha's latest gun amnesty day. Police say on August 12th people surrendered 60 handguns, 101 long guns, and 35 pellet/BB guns. That's in addition to 1,500 pounds of ammo, 500 pounds of fireworks, several containers of black powder, and a number of gun parts and accessories.
