(Omaha, NE) -- A former Omaha Boy Scouts leader is charged with attempted sexual exploitation of a minor and attempted enticement of a minor. Fifty-four-year-old John Shores was arrested on federal charges last week and could spend the rest of his life in prison. The criminal complaint is sealed so there are few details about the case. The Boy Scouts say Shores was released from involvement on August 11th. Shores previously served with the Boy Scouts Mid-America Council and spent time as the commissioner of the board of directors. He'll be back in court at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
