The city says a section of the Keystone Trail in Omaha from Cass Street to the Nebraska Furniture Mart pedestrian bridge will be closed to all trail users so the Omaha Public Works Department can utilize the trail space for sewage bypass operations as part of repairs on a collapsed sewer.
The closure will begin next Wednesday, August 16th, and the parks department says the trail will be closed for about five months.
A suggested detour around the closure is Cass Street to 76th Street to Rose Blumkin Drive.
