Swimming Advisories Posted For Eleven Iowa State Park Beaches

(Des Moines, IA) -- Swimming advisories are up this weekend for several state park beaches. Swimming is not recommended at the following locations due to E-Coli:

Backbone Beach (Delaware County)

Crandalls Beach (Dickinson County)

Emerson Bay (Dickinson County)

Lake Darling (Washington County)

Lake Keohma (Mahaska County)

Lake MacBride (Johnson County)

Lake Manawah (Pottawattamie County)

Lower Pine Lake Beach (Hardin County)

McIntosh Woods Beach (Cerro Gordo)

Prairie Rose Beach (Shelby County)

Swimming is also not recommended at Brushy Creek Beach (Webster County) due to blue-green algae.
