Heat Advisory In Effect In The Quad Cities As Temps Reach Upper 90's

(Quad Cities) -- A heat advisory is in effect in the Quad Cities. The National Weather Service says high temperatures in the Quad Cities will be in the upper 90's through Friday, with heat index values that could top 100 degrees. Temperatures are expected to be lower to the north of the Quad Cities and higher to the south. There are also several chances for thunderstorms through the weekend.
